Esther’s Court Healthy Start (ECHS) serves Maryland residents who are pregnant or with one child under the age of three, and who have a history of substance use disorder or mental health issues. Located 6811 Townbrook drive, ECHS is supported by the Maryland Department of Health/Behavioral Health Administration (MDH/BHA) and Behavioral Health Systems of Baltimore (BHSB). ECHS partners with each resident to help her access the resources and referrals needed to achieve these goals: have a safe and healthy pregnancy; maintain sobriety and improve her mental and physical health; develop successful parenting skills, and transition to become an independent productive member of her community. ECHS provides a safe and sober living in a healing environment and supports a holistic approach and services to address all aspects of the woman’s personal goals and needs. Services offered include: Recovery Capital Assessment Individual-Centred Service Plan Behavioral Health Therapy Prenatal Care/Mother & Child doctor visits Circle of Security-Parenting Training Life Skills Education and Training Case Management In-house AA meetings Childcare Scheduled transportation during business hours Safe, secure private living space Participants must meet the following criteria: Pregnant and planning to keep the baby, OR with a child under the age of three (3) 18 years or Older Have a history and diagnosis of substance use and/or mental health disorder
Esther’s Court is committed to doing our part to help each woman successfully make their transition and go on to develop a strong program of recovery for themselves and their loved ones. Our goal is to provide a safe, sober, structured and sharing environment in which a woman can realize herself as a worthwhile and capable individual. Recovery is an ongoing journey. We hope to provide you with the necessary tools to maintain that recovery independently with minimal supervision. Remember, recovery from addiction means more than simply eliminating alcohol and drug use. It means changing your LIFESTYLE. Services: Housing Job Readiness Transportation Admissions Criteria: Must be at least 18 years of age Must have recently completed a 111.7 program and be detoxed Must be able to live independently with minimal supervision Must be enrolled in an aftercare program Attend 12 step meetings regularly Diagnosed with substance abuse as a primary condition Enrolled in Access To Recovery program
The Women’s Addiction Treatment at Esther’s Court House (WATEC) is an outpatient program consistent with the organization’s overall mission to enhance treatment opportunities and outcomes for women diagnosed with the disease of alcohol and drug dependence. Offering skilled and licensed clinicians working together, all clients are provided information, education and counseling on substance abuse, potential environmental and emotional triggers, domestic violence, dual diagnosis, co-dependency, relapse prevention and risks associated with their drug or alcohol use. We also serve women with dual diagnoses. The WATEC program offers the following services: 26-week Substance Abuse Group Counseling Sessions Assessments and Referrals Individual Counseling as it relates to substance abuse Relapse Prevention Random Drug Screenings Introduction to support meetings and other self-help options
Esther’s Court Treatment Program provides a safe, sober, structured environment where residents can develop and strengthen their recovery skills. Our nurturing atmosphere within the framework of an ongoing rehabilitative program affords: Long-Term Sobriety Self-Discipline Self-Respect Cooperation with and Consideration for Others The Residential program includes the following services: Individual and Group Counseling Substance Abuse Education Relapse Prevention Smoking Cessation Parenting Skills Training Life Skills Development PTSD/Trauma Counseling Auricular Acupuncture (Acudetox) Therapeutic Recreation On-site infant and child care In-house/Community 12 Step Meetings Family Counseling and Support Mother/Child Activities Transportation Transitional Housing Admission Program Eligibility and Referral: Admissions Information Referrals for our program can be made by an addictions treatment program, social workers, courts, legal or other service provider advocating for the persons seeking services. Eligible persons must: Be at least 18 years of age Have a primary diagnosis of chemical addiction Have completed a detoxification program and be drug- and alcohol-free for a minimum of five days prior to admission.

She has worked in Baltimore County public service for over 27 years.
She has been retired from the United States Army for 5 years; this was after serving for 33 years 2months and 29 days.
Tammy has Mentored boys and girls for over 38 years. She served as the Chairperson t Windsor Mill Middle School. She also mentored boys and girls in cheerleading at the same school.
Ukabuilu Chuks is a registered nurse, registered midwife and a skilled writer. He holds a bachelor of nursing sciences from Abia State University, Nigeria. He has an insatiable passion for community health outreach and mobilization and organizes medical outreaches targeted at rural communities harboring the old and peasant. He also volunteers in other charity and humanitarian works and finds joy and fulfilment doing so. He has volunteered and partnered in community outreaches for 9years, reaching out to over 11,000 persons in different rural communities.
Frank works as a front end web developer and volunteer at Esther’s Court LLC. He is a project manager, a Risk Analyst, a Project Management Coach, a technical expert on engineering health and safety. He started his career as a Dr. of Optometry turned Project Manager. He has always had a passion for improving how companies manage work, deliver great products & services, & better serve their customers.
He holds a masters degree from the American Military University, West Virginia, USA. He holds several professional certifications including Project Management Professional PMP®, Agile Certified Practitioner PMI-ACP®, Project Risk management PMI-RMP®, Scrum Master Certified, NEBOSH, Six Sigma Yellow Belt, and Lean Production from the technical University of Munich, Germany.
He is a front-end web developer, coach, project planner, earned value analyst, team leader, and Monte Carlo/Latin hypercube simulator (for project risk management) expert. A public health expert with a special interest in executing projects in NGOs that over-saw over 3,000 eye surgeries.
Over the years, he led several successful enterprise software implementation projects.
Dr. John Okidi is a seasoned Pharmacist and one of the team members of The Pharmacy @ Belvedere. The pharmacy offers a One-Stop Shopping experience for your convenience – massage, disease management, weight loss management, house Nurse Practitioner, HomeCare Services, same-day delivery, or mailing, and of course revolutionary customer service. They will be the ones serving the Esther’s Court and Dr. Philips interphase between them and Esther’s Court Llc. The Pharmacy @ Belvedere Square 524 E. Belvedere Square, Suite A Baltimore, MD, 21212.
Theo Adeoye, MBA, CIA, CISA, CISM is the Executive Director of Finance in charge of our Accounts and Finance. He holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA.
Professionally, he’s a Licensed Tax Preparer, an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant, a Certified Internal Auditor, a Certified Information Systems Auditor, a Certified Information Systems Manager, an Insurance Agent and an experienced practicing Business Consultant.
Theo formerly worked as an Assistant Project Accountant with Shell International Exploration and Production Inc (SIEP Inc) in Houston, Texas, an Internal Auditor with Office of Inspector-General, Maryland Department of Human Resources, a Senior Auditor with Department of Defense, Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), and as a Lead IT Auditor with Office of Inspector-General, U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). He’s currently the President/CEO of Easy-Shores Group LLC and Easy-Shores Insurance Agency in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.
